Our client is a prestigious global financial services organization headquartered in the US. Job description :
The Commodities Division is an international business with trading desks around the world and a staff of over 500 professionals. The Energy Markets Division is a global business unit within Commodities that provides tailored risk management solutions to an international client base through Over The Counter Derivatives and Physical Commodities. Products traded include Crude and Oil Products, Distillates, Fuel Oils, Natural Gas, Electricity and Coal. Manage the preparation and analysis of daily p&l, month end close, and price testing Manage an international team of over 12 professionals Supervise cash movements and funding stipulations Oversee new business valuations and appropriate accounting policy applications Support new product roll-out Provide technical and valuation support for transactions Liaise with front office, finance, IT, legal, compliance, and risk team Ensure highest standards of internal controls and systems enhancements Ensure proper modelling, valuation, and risk reporting issues of complex products Conduct M&A due diligence and coordinate acquisition integration Who we are looking for :
Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Math CPA preferred but not essential Must have minimum 15+ product control/valuations/pricing experience within commodities, specifically energy - thorough knowledge of the operations, front office and financial control departments Must have held management positions and demonstrated leadership abilities in an international scope Familiarity with technical accounting principles and US GAAP & IFRS Strong attention to detail and team player Whats on offer :
